Tacheback 2009: Return of the Mutosh

Men around the world quiver with anticipation on the eve of Tacheback 2009 And this year we have none other than business man of the year 1993 Keith Lemon to provide inspiration for our growth with his mighty sexual Northern ways, witness the fitness:

I will of course be cultivating my own mouthbrow [ (c) Peter Serafinowicz ] & you would be very lovely if you would consider sponsoring me at my HQ HERE where I will keep you updated with progress.

Style wise, it’s looking likely I am going for the “Please let me in the Blue Oyster Bar” look again, this may change as the month progresses though.

Tacheback basically means we manly men (who are unable to hobble round a marathon, half marathon, or 500 metre kids walk-a-thon) Can do a manly thing and raise funds for the Everyman Male Cancer campaign.

Thanks for reading through all that, and even bigger thanks if you have made a donation. Of course there is the chance I will be able to make more money by doing a sponsored “Beatting the fanny off with a stick” what with how rugged and masculine I will be looking, will let you know more ASAP on that.

MEN! please join me at team Fantashtique where we can join forces in the battle against winky & botty cancer. That’s all.

PS Businessman of the Year 1993 Keith Lemon’s message for the ladies:

Tacheback – the final count

Tacheback finished 2 weeks ago. On that wonderful Sunday I treated meself to a trip to the barbers for a shave and a haircut.

Haircut was ok, but how complicated and time consuming is a number 1 all over. The shave on the other hand was a disappointment. Took 40 mins and although I was initially please (obviously) to be relieved of the weight from my top lip, I quickly lost interest when I left the barbers and found upon a quick tactile inspection (finger tip search) that my face was not as smooth as the proverbial (ala this amusing promo from Wilkinson Sword). So I had to have a proper shave when I returned home, 5 mins with a gillette mach3 and the smooth was back. No more barber shaves for me (unless someone can recommend a place that does it right)!

Here is the final gallery, I kind of ended up looking like a trailer trash from the US, which is ok as I thought it might end up with me taking up membership with the Blue Oyster Bar final amount raised for Everyman Cancer Research >>>>>>

Thanks very much to all friends/family/colleagues who have supported me and donated, as in all these cases, every little helps, thanks again. I now have a year to decide whether I will do it again, or just do a run or something next year?
