Bowie puts poor Andy down

David Bowie made an appearance at the end of episode 2 – series 2 of Ricky Gervais’s “Extras”

Here he is singing a lovely little ditty for Gervais’s character, Andy Millman:

Update 15/04/07: BBC had youtube pull this, round about the time the DVD of series 2 came out – sorry peeps. We had over 300k views on this as well.

Peter Sellers?

Just a quicky cause this made me larf hard yesterday.

Simon Mayo had Peter Sallis (Last Of The Summer WIne and the voice of Wallace) on his show yesterday to talk about Wallace & Gromit, they chatted a bit then took a few questions from callers.

The first caller asked if Peter had ever considered doing any more Pink Panther films? What a cock, Mayo explained that was Peter Sellers and the guy hung up, classic!

Seventies – Eighties cack

I’m all for re-cycling, keep the planet nice for the kids etc (dumped off last weeks newspapers with them today actually, then went and bought some more).

But, this seventies/eighties cack songs being sampled into cack dance songs is really too much, I understand that leaving the vinyl to fester in a second hand shop is equally as bad (potentially), but at least I do not suffer first hand. Latest I hear today (though I am probably behind the times) is Yes having “Owner of a lonely heart” sampled with a umf umf beat. Utter tripe.

I do however look forward to a Pat Benetar “Love Is A Battlefield” thang with naked birds wresting with geezers in custard for the video. Actually, leave out the geezers, it is the new century, lets just have the girls.

Kewell – Series of Unfortunate Events

I likes to dig about a bit to find out things, one thing I found out today, is the reason for Harry Kewell’s poor performances since joining Liverpool, and his recent creep towards form.

He has been developing a hollywood career along side his athletic aspirations, see below a still from Jim Carey’s new flick “Lemony Snickets Series of Unfortunate Events”

Now the films out, he’s had a rest, and is starting to fly down the wing for the Reds. Do us a favour Harry, stick to the footy eh la!
