David Jordan “Sun Goes Down” IS Wizbit

Right Pop Pickers, compare and contrast the amazingly well received new single from David Jordan “Sun Goes Down

With the Theme to TV magician Paul Daniel’s eighties childrens TV show Wizbit, which can be listened to/downloaded from here

If I was Paul, I’d set Debbie McGee on David Jordans ass for compensation, how dare he! A cad and a bounder sir.

Liverpool FC: Hicks sells to DIC, Gillette stays?

Forums over @ Liverpool Echo warming up with apparent insider information that Hicks has sold his share of Liverpool FC to Dubai International Capitol (DIC).

I hope this is true, certainly Gillet has been conspicuous by his absence, not once have we heard a peep out of the man that originally brought Hicks in as a silent partner, certainly the loudest silent partner I have ever heard. All statements recently concerning the refinancing of the loan originally taken out with RBS to finance the purchase of Liverpool FC, and the new stadium details have come from Hicks.

Hopefully the refinancing was just the yanks way of strengthening their bargaining hand to get a better price for the club than prior to the new deal.

Liverpool got their first victory of 2008 with a 3 – 0 win over Sunderland at Anfield on Saturday. If the  behind the scenes situation can be resolved also over the next  few days, maybe we will see a semblance of stability at the club for the remainder of a season that may end up a write off. The Premiership is far out of reach, we remain in the FA Cup with a kind draw against Barnsley, and face Inter Milan in the last 16 of the Champions League in the first leg at Anfield  on 19th Feb.

Here’s hoping Red Lady’s info is spot on, and we can move on from the Yanky nightmare!

Updates as they occur, all is rumour and conjecture so far (as with the earlier Aimar post)
Maybe I should stay away from the forums and rumour sites, but these days I cling to the slight sniff of a chance that G & H will do one!

Rafa Benitez to bring Pablo Aimar to Liverpool?

Liverpool Echo reporting what has also started to float round the less trustworthy rumour sites, that Pablo Aimar may be being lined up to come to Liverpool in the January transfer window.

Pablo Aimar

Have wanted to see Aimar at Anfield since Rafa arrived, only rumour at the moment, but I am getting deja-vu, like when Hollier brought in Jari Litmanen. I thought this would be the final part of the jigsaw and Litmanen would be free to roam and express himself in front of the midfield, behind the striker/s bagging a few as well. For some reason Litmanen was sadly under used. Lets hope the same does not occur if Aimar comes to Anfield. Of all the rumours currently doing the rounds, this is the one I am praying comes true.

Nice friend for Javier as well eh, then bring in Messi in the summer :O)

Keegan in shock Newcastle return

Kevin Keegan takes over the managerial role at Newcastle United (again!).

I wish him all the luck in the world, but has Keggy lost his marbles? Time will tell.
It’s a funny old game.

Skysports News report a flood of calls and txts from people saying they are going to call their new borns ‘Kevin Keegan…” I hope not, there is only one Kevin Keegan Milton, and that’s my brother :O)

Also quick movie reviews from over the holiday period (and a bit before, cor I slack init) including ‘Stardust’, ‘Enchanted’, ‘Polar Express: 3D’, although, whether I will actually do all this is another matter ;O)

All the best to you for 2008, hopefully this year will see some significant developments with the blog, and (as always) more regular posts.

Merry Christmas 2007

We would like to wish all our friends and family a fantastically, wonderfully Merry Christmas. Hope you all have a great, relaxed festive break, and that Santa makes all your wishes come true.

Tree is all ready for the big fella down stairs, carrot and bowl of milk for Rudolph, bottle of beer and mince pie for Santa.

Crimbly Tree

Kids are fast asleep after a nice warm bath, and a reading of “The Night Before Christmas” of course.

Have Fun!

Eamon in Hawaii

Eamon in Hawaii

This is our old office gnome Eamon. He has been living in Cardiff for the last 12 mths. We were hoping he might come home for Christmas, but looks like he has a better offer.

Can’t believe the taffs havn’t changed the plaster on his nose (he fell of the swing in our back garden) must be infected somewhat. He not bothered though, he is a bit of a thug.

Coming soon, the Adventures of Eamon Gnomes, from the brink of death after a messy e-bay incident, to world traveller, sailor and lover of fine dolls.
