Liverpool departed from John Lennon airport this morning heading for Athens, Greece ready for the Champions League Final on Wednesday.
Manager Rafa Benitez has a virtually fully fit squad to choose from ahead of the game, but as usual he will play his cards close to his chest. So, now I will put the mockers on it and give you my predictions. At least it is date stamped and you can all point and larf “ahahahaha” if I get it all wrongety wrong.
I go with a 4 4 1 1 formation

CM: Mascherano
CM: Alonso
LM: Kewell (Yes – from the start)

With the main man, Steven Gerrard floating in the space between MF and forward, able to revert to a five man midfield when necc, but also free to attack and maraud at will.
I say, AC Milan 0-2 Liverpool at half time after Liverpool fly out the blocks and get an early goal in the first 10 minutes, putting AC Milan on the back foot from the start. I’d then revert to a 10 man defence in the second half with a large corrugated barrier in front to hold back Kaka and Gattuso.
Sorted – see if I’m not right, disagree I dare ya.

Congratulations to A C Milan. Not a classic, but Liverpool can hold their heads high, we more that matched Milan and we can take heart from that for the future.
Hi am Sam and i think Liverpool is going to win 2-1 Kuyt scoring the 1st within 25mins then kaka just before half time but then Gerrard will score 2nd half at around 70-75mins of play. All i can say for all you United and Chelsea and Arsnel fans is your just jelous were in the finals for the 2nd time in 3 yrs, all you can do is dream up to the Semi Finals haha. I think Liverpool will be in the lead at half time by 2 goals but then in th secound half Milan will score 1 goal so Liverpool win. O’r Milan score 2 it will be setteld in extra time by Liverpool.

hi i’m juliana and i think that AC milan rocks liverpool is just lucky and if there was one team in england I would go for it would be Manchester or arsenal and maybe Liverpool i think that ac milan had something bad going on or something.
