Skye had her class assembley today (sorry, last post on Tobias should have been yesterday (Wed 5th April), just I aint bin posting on here for ages so lost the simple knack of correctly dating stuff)

Skye’s class Y3D performed a piece to show us all what the class has learnt during their Romans project work, explaining what the romans have done for us (central heating, medicine, cuisine etc), Skye played a celt and unfortuneatley died in a battle with a Roman soldier, she did have a nice speaking roll and performed lovely, the whole class were very good.

So obviously we are very proud parents after watching the kiddlys with their classmates. Again, pics and maybe video to come (but camcorder battery was flat this morning, did just manage to get Skye on though before it went)

Tobias has his first class assembley today. The whole class performed the story of “Dear Zoo” by Rod Campbell:

“A letter to the zoo asking for a pet results in a succession of animals being dispatched. All, of course, are highly unsuitable – except the last one.”

Tobias was an elephant and was of course fantastic, will try and post pics and video soon.
One of the monkeys escaped, but apart from that it all went very well :O)

Tobias also went to his first birthday party after school, and had a great time.
