All is well with Tobias. We bathed him tonight and best of all (as strange as it may seem) he managed to sit down on the old porcelain and deliver a number 2 (Kasey just called to tell me this @ 22:30!). It is good news cause it shows us all is well after the operation, having not gone since Monday afternoon it was causing him a bit of grief and tumy ache. He is now sleeping well and it is just a matter of time now for healing and recovery.

I forgot to take camera tonight, was going to post up a pic, next time though. Skye and I will not be going up tomorrow as Skye has a birthday party, but when we go on Friday, I will be staying over, and Kasey will come home to have a break and spend some time with Skye until Sunday.

Hopefully he will be home by this time next week.

Tobias went into theatre @ 9am this morning, took about 2 hrs 30 min including recovery.

All went smoothly, surgeon happy with procedure. He came up very groggy obviously, and conked out for a while, but has since had a nice bowl of grapes/kiwi/strawberrys, a banana and a cheese sandwich.

He conked out agian when I left this afternoon, hopefully he will have lots of sleep and a quiet night, pain relief being managed with paracetamol at the mo.

Tobias and Kasey will be @ Russell Hall for 9 days (unless he recovers quicker) so it is ging to be a bit of a pain for him to have to stay in bed for that long, but he has to. Has lots of books and films to keep him occupied though, and New Oscott Infants sent him some great things to keep up with his leasons. I’ll try and get some new pics tomorrow as Skye and I will pop up to see them after school.

Tobias admitted to childrens ward @ 15:30 this afternoon, full of beans having lots of fun, so far.
Kasey will be staying with him on the ward until he comes home, he should be in theatre tomorrow morning about 9ish.

Tobias is off to hospital tomorrow afternoon (although he says he is going on holiday), check in @ 13:30, due in theatre on Tuesday morning.

He should be in for a week recovery afterwards, will keep you up to date.

A grand welcome to this side of the pond to Alan, Visi and Sloane Reeves who have put down roots in County Cavan in Ireland to run a loverly old hotel.

Alan has bought up all the villages supply of tweed, Visi will be dressing exclusively in emerald green velvet from now on.
